Floor saws can be used in a variety of applications. For example, cutting expansion joints in concrete floors, making repairs to damaged pavements, or cutting trenches for utility lines.
 
There are different types of floor saw available, each designed for a specific type of job.
 

Walk-behind floor saws are the most common. They are easy to operate and can cut through thick concrete quickly and efficiently. The come is pertrol, diesel and electric versions.
 
Handheld slab saws are smaller and than walk-behind models and most often electric. This makes them them ideal for cutting in tight spaces or areas with limited access.
 
Ride-on floor saws are larger and more powerful than walk-behind models. This makes them ideal for heavy-duty jobs such as cutting through asphalt or large chunks of concrete.
